Overview: Ha Noi is one of the most attractive capital city in Southeast Asia. Abounding in lakes and parks, the heart is the Old Quarter. Ha means river, Noi means inner. Ha Noi itself means the inner river city, or bounded by river-the red river. The name of the city was given to by king Ming Mang in 1831. By many up and down of time, Ha Noi ‘s been Viet Nam ‘s capital again since 1945 after an interruption of history. (Hanoi is the way of writing in English, Vietnamese would say Ha Noi, as well as Viet Nam instead of writing Vietnam)
